Hi guys, it is Jadeen here so expect an amazing blog!
Today, Gemma has bought her boyfriends mother’s dog, Widget, into the office. Will has already trod on the dog- so Widget is not having the best time!
I am scared of dogs- so i’m keeping my distance!
I’m off to see Mesrine tonight – it is a French film. Looking forward to it!
Anyways, enough rambling by me. Here is what is on Channelbee:
Charlie talking to Kissy Sell Out
Kissy Sell Out and his band were so nice! They were really funny and had some great stories.
I love the single too.
The Maccabees tell a story about the most boring dream ever. . .am I selling it to you?! No seriously, it is really funny!
Enjoy people. . .I will see you all again soon!
Howdy y’all. Yeah, it’s Harriet writing the wordpress today, so i’m going to take all the credit for the fabulous content we have on offer.
Last night Neil, Sheephead and Tim went to see ‘Looking for Eric’ at the Vue in Leciester Square. Ken Loach gave a bit of a talk before the film about how the idea for it came about. It was apparently the first time one of his sets had been so interesting to the paparazzi. He said they had to hide Eric Cantona around Manchester when they were filming to avoid a mobbing! Check out our ‘Looking for Eric’ clips on the site for a taster. Three Men & A Movie to follow…
Watch out for our Friday Gag too which will be hitting up your inboxes very soon.
Up on Channelbee today we have:
The first ever Channelbee Wine Club! Tim and Sheephead give some nice English wines a taste with wine expert Julia Trustran Eve. This is all in honour of English Wine Week which runs from the 23rd May to the 31st May. What’s the verdict?
Darren Gibbs, the self-defence expert and star of our Friday Gag from last week shows us a few moves.
We’ve put up some Darren Gibbs Outtakes too, just incase you missed out on a few of his techniques…
Here’s the first ‘Looking for Eric’ clip. Looking at it, it looks like Looking for Eric looks good.
Here’s the new advert for the Adidas F50 boots. Bit cryptic. We’ve got some behind the scenes footage from it too, so take a look.
Hope you have a lovely weekend all. Sunshine please.
Hello all, Harriet here!
We’re all feeling pretty pleased with ourselves today in anticipation of another bank holiday weekend. Having said that ‘we’ are pretty thin on the ground today; Neil is away at a wedding, Fenners is sunning himself on the continent, Chris has gone on holiday, Sheephead and Jamie are filming at Lords, and Ben, Dyson and Charlie are in Coventry filming Charlie doing a Speedway piece. phew. Anyway, myself, Robbie, Tony and Jadeen are holding up the fort and a fine job we are doing too.
Today’s exclusive Friday gag was sent out today, it features this chap:
If you’d like to sign up to receive our Friday gags click here. They make weekends even better.
So, new up on Channelbee today we have:
A nice wholesome gag about drunken antics. As you can see from the picture, it features Sheephead’s world famous drunk acting. You may recognise this from such gags as ‘After Party’. Fabulous.
We Want Answers from Richard Bacon. Filmed in his 5 live studio. Fact.
New trailer for ‘The Hangover’ which features yet more great air drumming to Phil Collins if you weren’t sick of the Cadbury’s advert yet… Looks good; filmed in and around Las Vegas.
On behalf of Channelbee i’d like to wish you all a very happy bank holiday weekend. We’ll be back soon, until then, adieu, adios, and come visit us on the banterpit!
Hello, Jadeen here. It’s my first go at this so fingers crossed!
Some of the Channelbee team went out last night…Jamie and Ben were working hard at the launch party for the International Football Awards. Ok, they didn’t manage to get any interviews but they did end up chatting to Salomon Kalou. Does that count as a success? Then when they came home they took part in a creme egg challenge…the aim was to see how many creme eggs they could eat in 1 hour. At least they’ve got a goal in life. Anyway, if you’re interested, after much debate it was agreed they both managed 11 creme eggs. Again, success of a kind.
Robbie went to see Kasabian at a “secret gig”. He said, “it was good, hardly anyone was there so I could get down the front. The encore was The Source Ft. Candi Staton’s ‘You’ve Got The Love’ leading into LSF. It sounded skilliant.”

Tom Looking a bit like Meatloaf

Serge on stage
And today a lot of the team are involved in making a new gag. Here are a few pictures:

Can you guess what it is? Should be ready to go next week sometime.
And Robbie and Ben are now off to interview Saint and Greavesie. The older boys tell me they used to be great and did something like Soccer AM years before Soccer AM but I’m far too young to remember.
All busy then! Here is what is new on Channelbee today:
This is on http://www.funnyordie.co.uk/.
Hope you like my first ever blog
There will be a new one tomorrow from a member of the team !
For the second time this week life at Channelbee got off to an extremely early start this morning with Neil getting into the office just after 7am! It seems we are slowly becoming nocturnal… It’s all in the good name of creativity however as Neil is filming a spoof film trailer today and much preparation is required. Robbie is also planning on doing some more lying to the public today, and Fenners has gone off on holiday to Menorca. According to the weatherman it’s 25c out there so he should be in for a scorcher.
New today on Channelbee:
Charlie’s blog today comes from a pitlane in Brands Hatch where she shows us some of the cars that people have brought over to have a drive-around in. The Brands Hatch ‘open day’ seems to be more of an Ferrari showcase than anything else…
Robbie gives Lucy the chance to win £50 in Celebrity Face Off. How good is her celebrity knowledge?
Our third exclusive “Awaydays” interview features the producer David A. Hughes talking about clearing the soundtrack for the film. Don’t forget – it’s out on Friday!
Our latest UR A&R is from solo artist Alex Roots, who lists her main influences as Gwen Stefani and Avril Lavigne. Is angry girl music back?
We also have a new video up from Le Roux. ‘Bulletproof’ is her third single and the video appears to be set in a pastel coloured spaceship. Her gravity-defying hair would suggest she’s used to these sorts of surroundings.
Have a ball with this lot, and come and visit us on the banterpit if you’ve got any comments/suggestions/tips on how we can get more sleep…
THE TWANG – JEWELLERY QUARTER (album)
http://www.myspace.com/thetwang
I got a watermarked copy of the new Twang album yesterday. It isn’t out till July so we’ve got it very early. The sound is similar to Love It When I Feel Like This, so if you’re a fan of the band, you’ll won’t feel let down. I’ve only played it twice so I’ll give you a fuller review in a couple of days.
This video is The Reeling from Passion Pit’s debut album Manners. The album has much bigger production than the Chunk of Change EP – children’s choir, etc. A definite improvement.
KISSY SELL OUT – THIS KISS
I interviewed Kissy Sell Out in a gondola lift at Snowbombing. He’s very tall. This single is out on 1st June, album after that.
PULLED APART BY HORSES – MEAT BALLOON
Very popular at The Great Escape (I didn’t see them myself), this Leeds band are mega. I look forward to seeing them live soon.
THE TEMPER TRAP – SCIENCE OF FEAR
These Aussies release their debut album this summer. I’ve heard it and it’s great. They did a URA&R recently too, you should check it out on Channelbee.
KASABIAN – FIRE
It’s already one of the singles of the year and it isn’t out yet. Check out the bit on the video where Tom and Chris fall down on the steps. There is no way that’s acting!
ASHER ROTH – LARK ON MY GO KART
Robbie Knox
Chief executive of the internet
Sharon Horgan just popped by for an interview with Tim Lovejoy:
She was lovely and very game for a laugh, even when faced with Jadeen’s questions. Check Channelbee on Thursday for the interview.
